Renato Ratti Langhe Nebbiolo

From the Ochetti Vineyards in Monteu Roero this Nebbiolo starts of with a nose of dark cherry, dry strawberry and a hint of oak.  The palate is fairly soft with a nice balance of acidity, and the fruits continue with black cherry, strawberry, and a little vanilla.  This will pair beautifully with robust meats and cheeses.

Renato Ratti Barbera D’ Alba

Renato Ratti Barbera D’ Alba

This is a delicious Barbera from Renato Ratti’s Torriglione Vineyards near Alba.  It opens with a nose of intense, bright fruit.  Very rich in plum, dark currants and a hint of spice.  The palate is caressed with a silky softness that is almost chocolaty.  Flavors of plum and light spice linger for a satisfying, long finish.
