If you’re looking for a good wine value try an Italian red called Conti Degli Azzoni. Hailing from Rosso Piceno in the Marche region on Italy’s east central coast this wine is a blend of Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Soft, red fruits and light tannins make it very easy to drink. It has a medium body and light acidity that pairs well with a wide variety of meats and cheeses or any pasta dish with a red sauce. At $16.99 it’s a lot of bang for the buck.
